Ooredoo Tunisia has officially launched IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) and voice over LTE (VoLTE). Both technologies are available to subscribers with compatible terminals.
The VoLTE service allows subscribers to make and receive phone calls faster, with great voice quality using 4G/LTE mobile networks. For its part, IPv6 provides subscribers with faster connectivity and more security. The deployment of these two technologies is part of a national strategy supported by the Ministry of Communication Technologies.
The deployment of IPv6 and the VoLTE service should allow Ooredoo Tunisia to strengthen the quality of its telecoms services to meet the demand of its current subscribers and attract new ones.
