The collaboration is expected to enhance access to Starlink’s high-speed internet services for both businesses and citizens in Liberia, thereby improving the nation’s competitiveness in the digital landscape.
To facilitate the adoption of Starlink services, users in Liberia can choose between two hardware kits. The Standard kit, priced at US$390, is tailored for residential users and caters to everyday internet needs. Alternatively, the Mini kit, available for US$200, is a compact and portable solution that offers low-latency high-speed internet on the go, making it easy for users to carry it in a backpack.
Starlink is also providing two broadband internet plans in Liberia. The standard Residential plan is priced at $50 per month and includes unlimited data, while the Residential Lite option costs $40 and is designed for smaller households with moderate digital service needs. Although it also offers unlimited data, the Lite plan has reduced priority, which can result in slower speeds during peak usage times.
