The innovative UniSite 1+2+3 solution is designed to make network expansion faster, more affordable, and more energy-efficient.
According to ZTE, the new deployment reduces the number of wireless modules per site from 15 to just six — cutting tower space usage by over 60%. Additionally, the solution lowers energy consumption by approximately 20%, which can lead to significant operational cost savings and environmental benefits.

By deploying compact, high-performance hardware and lowering energy use, we can expand coverage faster, enhance customer experience, and support Indonesia’s growing digital economy,” said A. Moelky Furqan, VP of Planning and Network Architecture at Telkomsel.
“The UniSite 1+2+3 features advanced chip technology, a new Super-N Power Amplifier, and AI-driven algorithms. Its comprehensive integration across frequency bands, sectors, channels, and antennas ensures high performance and flexibility in deployment,” said ZTE VP Tang Xue.
