This collaboration aims to enhance operational resilience, network performance, and cybersecurity for Agrobank through TM One’s managed SD-WAN services, which will be deployed nationwide.
Agrobank, which is dedicated to rural and agricultural development, will also utilise TM One’s technological capabilities to support financial services, agricultural initiatives, and digital infrastructure for its customers. The bank highlighted that these efforts are geared towards creating a more inclusive, secure, and sustainable future for Malaysia’s agro-economy.
Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin, group president and CEO of Agrobank, noted that the agriculture sector, traditionally seen as conservative, is now rapidly evolving alongside digital advancements. He emphasised that integrating digital solutions demonstrates that agro-based industries are actively embracing modernisation and are no longer being left behind.
Shazurawati Abd Karim, executive vice president of TM One, explained that the partnership aligns with Malaysia’s national priorities, including the government’s National Agrofood Policy (NAP 2.0) and the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030. These initiatives aim to promote rural digital inclusion, enhance food security, and foster sustainable agricultural innovation, reinforcing the government’s commitment to a digitally empowered and resilient agro-economy.
