Gallagher Security has reinforced its commitment to the KwaZulu‑Natal region following another successful Command the Future event.

The full-day event welcomed over 100 channel partners, end users and consultants, marking Gallagher’s third major event in Durban and further demonstrating the organisation’s focus on continued education, innovation and collaboration in the region’s security community.

Morne Grobler, Gallagher Security General Manager – Africa, said the strong turnout and overwhelmingly positive feedback reflected the energy the team are investing in the region. “Every time we come to Durban, we’re reminded of the talent and passion within the KwaZulu-Natal security market.

“This event was an opportunity to build genuine connections, share meaningful insights, and further equip our partners and customers with tools to ensure the safety of their people and assets.”

Attendees experienced live, onstage demonstrations of Gallagher’s Command Centre and its integration capabilities which connect security and operational systems into a single platform, enhancing efficiency, reducing risk and enabling smarter decision making.

Grobler says this hands-on format is central to Gallagher’s approach. “Customers want to see how things work in the real world – in motion and under pressure. Seeing our award-winning solution Command Centre talk to third party systems in a live environment gives people an opportunity to discover what’s possible.”

Technology partners including Gallagher Animal Management, Axis, Cathexis, IDEMIA, Kenai, Kidde, OPTEX, Runrite Alcolizer, TechRing by Zenitel, Traka and Turnstar played a key role in bringing these demonstrations to life.

Looking ahead, Grobler says Gallagher is committed to continuing its engagement with the KwaZulu‑Natal security community. “The level of engagement and collaboration we’ve seen here confirms the importance of our role in this region. We are committed to building on this momentum, strengthening relationships, and delivering meaningful experiences that support the industry’s growth.”
