During the meeting, the operator showcased the platform’s key features, including electronic attendance and grade management for teachers, real-time access to student results, and integrated tools for monitoring academic progress for parents. While no official rollout has been initiated yet, the dialogue could pave the way for a collaborative implementation approach.
This initiative supports Ethiopia’s “Digital Ethiopia 2025” strategy, a comprehensive plan aimed at fostering an inclusive and digitally empowered society. It also aligns with Ethio Telecom’s new three-year transformation strategy, “Next Horizon: Digital and Beyond 2028,” which seeks to position the company as a provider of diversified digital services. The strategy emphasizes expanding into high-growth sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions for education and healthcare.
