This initiative is part of a strategic partnership involving AgroGreen Dynamics (AFCSN), the Federation of Agricultural Commodity Associations of Nigeria (FACAN), and the Nigeria Agribusiness and Agro-Industry Development Initiative (NAADI). The programme aims to demonstrate that sustainable agriculture can be not only environmentally responsible but also profitable, scalable, and measurable.

The CSV-P model, developed through collaboration with FACAN, NAADI, and international input innovators such as HGS Bioscience, integrates science, data analytics, and community engagement to regenerate degraded farmlands and improve livelihoods. It features a digital monitoring, reporting, and verification dashboard, along with a cooperative governance framework, generating reliable data streams that support Nigeria’s participation in global carbon credit markets and access to international climate funding. This effort aligns with Nigeria’s commitments to reduce emissions and contribute to global climate goals.

AgricoGreen has set an ambitious target of establishing 250 Climate-Smart Villages by 2030, covering more than 25,000 hectares of farmland and creating around 50,000 green jobs across Nigeria. Earl Edison, Director of Operations at AgroGreen, emphasized the programme’s mission to develop profitable farms that restore the land, empower local communities, and deliver high-quality produce to both domestic and international markets. This initiative exemplifies how innovation and community-centred approaches can drive sustainable agricultural transformation in Nigeria.
